Instructions Based on the Indicative List of Risks

1 Mechanical risks
  • 1.1 Unprotected machinery and moving parts of equipment (crushing, cutting, impact, tearing, piercing, pulling, catching).
  • 1.2 Uncontrolled movements of parts and objects (moving, falling, rotating, sliding, flying).
  • 1.3 Parts with dangerous surfaces (sharp, edges, points, protruding, broken).
  • 1.4 Mobile transport equipment (crushing, impact, running over, bending, falling down).
  • 1.5 Falls, slips, and trips on the same level (slippery, uneven, unsuitable, or unorganized surfaces).
  • 1.6 Falls from height (from vertical ladders, stairs, scaffolding, up to 3m, more than 3m, into unprotected open areas, holes and channels).
  • 1.7 Entrapment and drowning (from soil, construction materials, particles, water, or other liquids).
  • 1.8 Confined or overcrowded spaces (collision and impact with fixed parts).
2 Electrical risks
  • 2.1 Live parts (working on or near live equipment, insulation failures, incorrect installations, unsuitable equipment).
  • 2.2 Electric arc (short circuit, working on live current, electrostatic discharges).
3 Fire and explosion risks
  • 3.1 Flammable solids, liquids, gases.
  • 3.2. Explosive substances (explosives, pyrotechnic articles)
  • 3.3 Explosive atmospheres (through gases, vapors, mist, dust).

  • 4.1 Hot objects, surfaces, materials (naked flames, hot surfaces, liquids and steam, splashes from hot materials).
